Cleveland – During the 2011 FABTECH show, Nov. 14-17, visitors to Lincoln Electric’s booth and the adjacent booths of its subsidiaries, will see first-hand the latest in welding solutions and also participate in a scavenger hunt contest to locate 2D Microsoft® Tag barcodes for a chance to win a VIP experience trip. Lincoln Electric can be found at booth #5922 in the North Hall of Chicago’s McCormick Place.
Lincoln Electric’s presence at this year’s show reflects the company’s commitment to offer the welding industry the most up-to-date welding technology. Lincoln Electric and its affiliated companies are “Serving the Industry Together,” through innovative product offerings and services.
In the Microsoft® Tag contest, visitors are asked to locate specific mobile ready 2-D codes at Lincoln Electric’s and its subsidiaries’ exhibits. Each code reveals a mobile webpage specific to each company, and displays a new product or feature. At the bottom of each webpage is a letter - essential to collect. After all five 2D Microsoft® Tag codes have been scanned the letters will spell out a word to be input into a digital entry form on a smartphone.

All visitors who complete the tour will receive a gift case filled with promotional items from each participating Lincoln Electric company.

Don’t have a smartphone? You can still enter to win one of the grand prizes by swiping your show ID badge at the Lincoln Electric info desk at booth #5922. However, you will not be eligible to receive the gift case.
