Cleveland — Lincoln Electric has upgraded its 500 and 1,000 lb. Accu-Pak® Boxes for its SuperArc® MIG wire, which is designed to meet the requirements of robotic welding applications with bulk quantities, mini-pallets and new side-view windows.
New Mini-Pallets and Eco-Friendly Packaging
These forklift ready corrugated cardboard mini-pallets are now available for both the 500 lb. Accu-Pak box and 1,000 lb. Accu-Pak box for increased portability. Accu-Pak boxes and mini-pallets are 100-percent recyclable to help customers reduce waste and environmental impact.
New Integrated Feeding Hat and Flow Cone™ Technology
The Accu-Pak boxes now feature an integrated feeding hat that eliminates the need for a separate feeding hat, minimizing the amount of material required for feeding. The box lid is designed to allow direct attachment of the conduit for maximum efficiency. The new boxes also have steel flow cones on top of the wire stack designed with Lincoln’s Flow Cone™ technology to reduce waste and wire tangling.
Stackable for Increased Visibility
Accu-Pak boxes are designed for stacking three high for the 500 lb. option and two high for the 1000 lb. option, providing at least a 50-percent increase in storage space. Side view windows are standard on both 500 and 1,000 lb. Accu-Pak boxes, allowing operators to easily identify when wire levels are low.
SuperArc wires available in the new Accu-Pak 500 and 1,000 lb. boxes include L-50® (AWS ER70S-3), L-56® (AWS ER70S-6), and L-59™ (AWS ER70S-6). SuperArc LA-90 (AWS ER80S-D2) is available in the 500 lb. Accu-Pak box.
