Cleveland - Lincoln Electric is proud to announce its sponsorship of four of Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) top riders – Mike Lee, Ryan McConnel, Jody Newberry and Travis Briscoe.

Each of the sponsored riders wears the Lincoln Electric logo on their vests and exclusively uses Lincoln Electric welding products.

“We are proud to announce our partnership with these great riders,” said Mickey Holmes, manager of sports marketing for Lincoln Electric. “These riders exemplify the tough attitude and perseverance we want our customers to identify with our welding equipment. These sponsorships are another way for us to support bull riding and to promote our brand to the huge PBR fan base.”

As of early June, Jody Newberry ranked fourteenth in the PBR Built Ford Tough Series. Ryan McConnel ranked sixth. Former 2004 World Champion Mike Lee ranked ninth place and Travis Briscoe leads the group with a third place ranking.

After a six week break, the PBR Built Ford Truck Series will start up again on July 16-18, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla., with the Express Classic Presented by Cooper Tires.

Lincoln Electric became an official sponsor of PBR in February 2010.
