Gas-Shielded, Flux-Cored Wire Delivers Optimal Performance for Pipe Welding

The Pipeliner® 111M
, a gas-shielded, flux-cored (FCAW-G) wire, has been introduced by Lincoln Electric
to meet the demands of welding applications on high-grade steel pipe.
· Designed for hot, fill and cap pass welding on X80 to X100 grade pipe
· Optimized for fully automated pipe welding procedures
· Ideal for semi-automatic pipe welding applications
This electrode was specifically engineered for automated and semi-automatic pipe welding in all positions. It meets industry requirements for AWS A5.29/A5.29M: 2010 E111T1-GM, ASME SFA-5.29 E111T1-GM and ISO 18276: 2006 ISO 18276-B-T764T1-1MA-G-H5 conformances.

Pipeliner® 111M provides optimal performance during automated pipe welding applications where consistent arc length is critical. Fast-freezing slag provides a flat bead shape with consistent puddle support all the way around the pipe.
Additionally, the new wire provides robust impact toughness and is capable of producing weld deposits with Charpy V-Notch impact toughness exceeding 27J (20 ft•lbf) at -40°C (-40°F).

This new Pipeliner® 111M wire is available in 1.2 mm (0.047 in.) wire diameter on 10 lb. and 25 lb. plastic spools, packaged in Lincoln Electric’s ProTech® vacuum-sealed foil bags. All Pipeliner® consumables are packaged in ProTech® sealed, foil bags to protect against moisture and ensure reliable performance.
